• I've had my own "work wife" relationship with my law partner for nearly 40 years, and I can say that much of what the authors say rang true for me, and ratified what we had been doing unconsciously all these years. My partner and I had the benefit of actually knowing what we were doing by the time we shed all our male partners, so it was pretty gripping to me to read how all these women steered their new ideas to become viable business. Well written, concise and insightful.

In what was a fast and enjoyable read there was so much amazing advice, great lessons, and humor from a varied group of female professionals. I thought this book was so useful in learning how to navigate, appreciate and also optimize all the important female relationships in my work life and my personal life. I also think there's a lot of learned form Work Wife for men as well. It's a book about partnerships, and driving business forward and feel so universal. Highly recommend!
